Client Service Agreement
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before accessing our website, making a booking, or using any services provided by Witblits Cleaning.
By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
Your access to and use of the Witblits Cleaning website, WhatsApp channels, booking systems, related platforms, and services is subject to this Agreement. By accessing our website, requesting a quotation, making a booking, paying for a service, or allowing a Service Provider access to the premises, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access the website or make use of our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
1.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all users, visitors, and clients making use of the Witblits Cleaning website and services.
1.2. By accessing the website, requesting a quotation, making a booking, paying for a service, or using any Witblits Cleaning service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1.3. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the website or make use of any services offered by Witblits Cleaning.
1.4. If you are using the services on behalf of another individual, company, or entity, you confirm that you have authority to bind such individual, company, or entity to this Agreement.
2. Amendments
2.1. Witblits Cleaning reserves the right to amend, update, or modify these Terms and Conditions or any related policies at any time to the extent permitted by law.
2.2. Any updated version of these Terms will become effective immediately upon being published on the website.
2.3. Witblits Cleaning may change pricing, service fees, or service structures from time to time. Where reasonably possible, notice of significant price changes may be provided in advance.
2.4. Continued use of the website or services after changes have been published constitutes acceptance of such amendments.

3. Nature of the Service
3.1. Witblits Cleaning provides a platform and booking service through which independent Service Providers may offer residential cleaning, commercial cleaning, gardening, and related services.
3.2. Witblits Cleaning itself does not directly perform cleaning, gardening, or general labour services and is not a cleaning or gardening service provider.
3.3. Services booked through the website or platform are performed by independent contractors registered with Witblits Cleaning.
3.4. By making use of a Service Provider introduced through Witblits Cleaning, you understand and agree that the Service Provider is an independent contractor and not an employee, partner, agent, or representative of Witblits Cleaning.
3.5. The fact that a Service Provider markets or offers their services through Witblits Cleaning does not create any employment, agency, or partnership relationship between Witblits Cleaning and the Service Provider.
3.6. All Service Providers registered with Witblits Cleaning undergo a vetting and screening process which may include identity verification, interview procedures, reference checks, address verification, and police clearance checks where applicable.
3.7. While Witblits Cleaning takes reasonable care in vetting Service Providers, clients acknowledge that they make use of services at their own discretion and risk.
3.8. The client remains responsible for supplying all necessary cleaning products, tools, equipment, electricity, and water unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Bookings & Payments
4.1. Bookings may be made via the website, WhatsApp, phone, or email.
4.2. A booking is only confirmed once accepted by Witblits Cleaning.
4.3. Payment may be required upfront before a booking is confirmed.
4.4. All prices displayed or quoted are in South African Rand.
4.5. Witblits Cleaning reserves the right to suspend or refuse services where invoices remain unpaid.
5. Cancellation & Rescheduling
5.1. Clients may cancel or reschedule bookings by providing reasonable notice before the scheduled booking time.
5.2. Witblits Cleaning reserves the right to reschedule bookings due to Service Provider availability, emergencies, illness, transport disruptions, or events beyond reasonable control.
5.3. If access to the property cannot be obtained at the scheduled time due to client-related issues, the booking may be cancelled or rescheduled.
6. Liability & Disclaimers
6.1. Witblits Cleaning will use reasonable care in introducing and vetting independent Service Providers.
6.2. Witblits Cleaning is not responsible for indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages arising from use of the website or services.
6.3. Clients are responsible for securing valuables, cash, jewellery, confidential information, and fragile items before any booking commences.
6.4. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Witblits Cleaning and its independent Service Providers shall not be liable for loss, theft, or damage occurring at the premises.
6.5. Any complaint, concern, or damage claim must be reported in writing within 24 hours after completion of the service.
6.6. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion would be unlawful under South African law.
7. Access & Safety
7.1. Clients are responsible for providing safe and timely access to the property.
7.2. Clients must disclose any hazards, risks, dangerous animals, unsafe conditions, or biohazards before commencement of services.
7.3. Clients must ensure that the environment is reasonably safe for the Service Provider to perform their duties.
7.4. Water and electricity must be available where reasonably necessary for services to be performed.
8. Complaints & Refunds
8.1. Complaints regarding service quality must be submitted within 24 hours after completion of the service.
8.2. Witblits Cleaning may, at its discretion, arrange a return visit or partial credit where a complaint is found to be valid.
8.3. Refunds are not guaranteed once services have already been rendered.
9. POPIA & Data Protection
9.1. Witblits Cleaning processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013.
9.2. Personal information may be collected for bookings, communication, customer support, invoicing, quality control, and legal compliance purposes.
9.3. Witblits Cleaning will take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information.
10. Governing Law
10.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
10.2. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
